Bio-degradable Waste Composting

Albany currently operate and work in conjunction with numerous composting opportunities within the United Kingdom.

Green and food based solid wastes from food producers, residential and commercial industries are all good energy producers and can be composted at many locations throughout the country. Food wastes such as canteen, restaurant waste and residential food waste collections can be placed through large anaerobic digesters - this process is 100% recoverable and offers up to a reduction of 900kg's of carbon emissions reduction (volume dependant).

Industrial waste solids and sludge's are also very efficient composting materials including Latex, PVA etc... all are highly bio-degradable and can be composted again at many locations, with resulting cake being used to benefit agriculture at our farm locations throughout the United Kingdom.
